On Wednesday night, my date and I attended Avenue Magazine's 13th Annual Best Restaurants Awards. This was the first year they've made it a public event, and I can never turn down an invitation to try something new—so I knew I had to go! It's the mooost wonderful time of the year. Super Bowl, that is. I'm a little glad my team isn't in the playoffs this year, so I don't have to get emotionally invested—especially in last-minute, mind-boggling, game-losing plays (Why, Seahawks, why?!). I'm currently in Panorama, but should make it back in time to catch the big game with bae. On Sunday, I helped my friend Emily move out to her new digs in Kananaskis Country. We got up and loaded up our cars early in the morning, then headed down the Trans-Canada Highway to Nakiska Ski Resort.
